We provide custom stretchers for canvas works of any size and the ability to source archival stretchers. Our stretchers are available in a variety of sizes and widths and provide extended durability, while archival stretchers may be broken down to their composite parts for convenient storage and transportation.
All of our framing is completed to archival standards ensuring the highest possible standard in presentation and protection of your artwork. Our materials are sourced specifically for their high quality and we have some components custom made to our requirements. This high standard is maintained throughout our process whether it be for an individual work or an entire exhibition. We pride ourselves on the quality of our work and our individual approach to each consultation.
Particularly when dealing with larger individual or bodies of works our clients often require our assistance with installation and hanging. This service is available to all of our customers and assessed on a case by case basis. Our extensive knowledge of hanging systems and installation techniques is a part of every framing consultation.
The 'Whyte Space' is a wall within our workshop available for local artists to display their work free of charge. The display is changed approximately every six weeks and our annual event on the wall is the 'Off-Cut Show'. Which as the name suggests is a show created from the off cut canvas and stretcher bar from the previous year. These mini canvases are distributed to local artists with proceeds from the sale of works being donated to charity.
